  40. I am dropping you a note to bring you up to date on CMS Enhancements new
  41. products and user group promotions for the summer of 1990.  We have spent the
  42. past several months gearing up for a great summer and fall, with a new line of
  43. high quality hard drives, a bundle with SUM II™, and a rebate program to help
  44. make our products even easier for your members to purchase.

  46. The new line is our Platinum Series of hard disk drives.  Many people have
  47. requested a premium line from CMS, products that go through some extra testing
  48. and use premium quality parts.  The Platinum Series delivers on this.  Starting
  49. today, June 1, 1990, all Platinum Series drives will contain, free, Symantec's
  50. SUM II disk utilities version 2.0, providing data recover, encryption, file
  51. back-up, partitioning and disk editing capabilities for every Platinum owner.
  52. For people looking for quality and reliability first, the Platinum line is the
  53. choice.  Look for our ads starting next week in Macintosh News.

  55. Our User Group Rebate also kicks off next week, offering your members up to $75
  56. back on the purchase of Platinum Series drives.  The rebate is direct from CMS,
  57. so you can make your best deal with your reseller, and still collect the
  58. rebate.  We are sending forms to all user groups on our mailing list, but here

  72. program especially for MUG members. During the summer, from June 4 through
  73. August 15, 1990, purchase any Platinum drive and receive a rebate up to $75
  74. direct from CMS.  Simply complete the enclosed claim form and return it with
  75. the requested materials for your rebate.  (Copy this form onto your club's
  76. letterhead to help facilitate processing, and to look more like a partner in
  77. this promotion.)  Please distribute these forms and the rebate information to
  78. your membership as soon as possible.
